Can bold but battered Barclays bank group really become an exemplar of new practice - including culture and values - which other organisations (not just banks) will emulate? For that is the goal which the bank's leadership have set out.Possibly, argues this evidence to the Salz inquiry prepared by Sparknow, with Douglas Board as lead author - but only if the bank can use its burning platform as impetus to take on board insights into human society and organisation which much contemporary management thinking neglects.
